We have been in school for 32 days and have worked hard on procedures and routines. It is now time to publish those procedures into character traits such as good manners.
Yes, manners do matter!!! With all the pressure of test scores and performance many teachers have gotten away from teaching children manners. This is a very important life-long skill for all people. So...this week I decided to focus on table manners, particularly at lunch time in the large cafeteria. I just created these simple award certificates to give out each day to one boy and one girl after lunch. I made them in black and white save time and money.
